flrlamp inspired by ironing board legs, Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, and snap-together toys we designed this floor lamp to assemble with cross halving joints (that is they slide together, no hardware needed) and hand crafted it from chunky 1" unfinished Baltic Birch Plywood. You provide any lamp shade/cord combo, or like shown, an IKEA shade (SKIMRA $13 - $5 depending on size) and cord (HEMMA $3.99). The lamp cord sits hidden in routed out channel in lamp arm (cord is held in by main vertical part), and gently curves over edge.
To review: comes in pieces, simply slides together and you provide the lamp parts. Note that this is the base only. I encourage modifications, such as any lamp shade, no shade (bare bulbs are beautiful), any finish, paint, varnish, wax, linseed oil, or leave unfinished. It's your lamp.
Specs: assembled dimensions 46" x 17" (approx) / 1" un-finished Baltic Birch Plywood, no hardware needed.
